I decided that aftermarket polyurethane engine mounts are too expensive, so I went the DIY route and made my own. Watch the video, all the info is there:
My coolant overflow tank was sitting in my car for far too long and it was simply horrible. With a ton of 30 year old sludge, dirt, discoloration and anything else you can imagine. Did this too. I went a bit overboard with the injector cleaning. I had them profesiionally cleaned in an ultra-sonic bath and then I had them rebuilt using a rebuild / service kit. I got the kit for $ 17.
All I can say is “Holy f**k porting and polishing a cylinder head takes forever! Imagine a number of hours you think its going to take. Now whatever you imagined, double, or heck, even triple it. I ported and polished a 4 cylinder head from my 4age 16v bigport engine from my 1987 Toyota MR2 mk1 (aw11) and it took me 40+ hours, probably more since I lost count somewhere along the way.
