How to video: Wrinkle finish valve covers

I always wanted wrinkle finish valve covers. The wrinkle finish is simply beautiful and reminds me of exotic engine bays and screams Race car!

I finally got around doing mine and made a short step by step video on how to do this. Read more and watch the video to see how its done.

  1. Hello friend, just wanted to say I’ve been enjoying the projects you’ve been posting to YouTube lately. It’s nice to watch someone else learning and just going for it.

I’ve made a ton of progress on my AW11. Initially I started with trying to rebuild my shifter like your tutorial showed, but the primer and paint ended up gumming everything up too much for me to keep it on — so I sanded it all back down to bare metal (and now it looks and feels awesome!). Since then I’ve ended up into a ever growing nest of other projects that I have a hard time pulling myself away from.

In any case, hope all is well with you and yours =)

    1. Hey there buddy!
As always, thanks for the support!
I just browsed around on your blog, and I see you have been busy!
The shifter looks awesome, like you just bought it brand new! Great work, kudos to you. Looks better than mine to be honest.
Love your pragmatic solution for the steering wheel. Hose clamps galore 🙂
      Keep up the good work!
