Why I love cars

Before I finally break the suspense (oh who am I kidding, no one is reading this) and tell you more about my dream car, let me first bore you some more and tell you how and why I got into cars, and why I think anyone gets and keeps being into cars. Somehow I think that matters.

Cars are glorious. They are so much more than the sum of their parts. So much more than steel, aluminum and plastic (and leather for those better equipped).

They are companions that you get attached to. You relate to your car. From another point of view they are more like women. The better you treat them the happier they are and the better they repay you. Continue reading Why I love cars

growing up

Growing up…

We all experience big changes in our lives. Some more than others. However, there is one big change that bypasses no one, and that change is growing up. Ok, it bypassed the 40 year old weirdo next door collecting action figures and living with his mom. Everyone else though, has to grow up.
I woke up the this morning and realized that it had already happened to me – without me noticing it. I started weighing my successes and failures, putting my life’s work up for scrutinization by my high-school self and the promises I have made to myself back then. Continue reading Growing up…
